Chaclot Says Goodbye to Show Jumping

Chaclot Retires from Sport to Focus on BreedingChaclot Retires from Sport to Focus on Breeding

Chaclot, born in 2009 and bred by Gestüt Lewitz/Paul Schockemöhle, is a stallion whose remarkable achievements and lineage have left a lasting legacy in the world of show jumping. As a son of the legendary Chacco-Blue and out of Flying P. by Fly High I and Pilot, Chaclot carries the spirit and strength of champions. His sire, Chacco-Blue, made an unforgettable impact in show jumping, while his dam line through Flying P., Pilot, and For Pleasure added depth and exceptional athleticism.

Since joining our family at Lozar Stables as an 8-year-old in 2017, Chaclot has created countless memorable moments alongside Riccardo Pisani, representing Team Italia at the world’s top venues, from Aachen to Piazza di Siena and Barcelona to Calgary. Together, they consistently delivered top performances in CSI4* and CSI5* Grand Prix events, including remarkable double clear rounds at the FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona and double clear in Aachen. In 2021, their partnership was honored as the reserve for the Tokyo Olympics, solidifying Chaclot’s role as one of Italy’s most cherished competitors.

Now enjoying a well-deserved retirement, Chaclot remains very much a part of our family. He spends his days in our paddocks, full of and energy. His presence brings joy and a sense of pride to everyone at Lozar Stables.

Thank you, Chaclot, for the emotions, successes, and inspiration you continue to bring as a recognized breeding stallion in the world's most prestigious studbooks: Oldenburg-International, sBs, Sella Italiano, Selle Français, Zangersheide, and ISH.
